18u American Freedom (Patton) Joins Organization

The American Freedom Softball announces the formation of the 18u American Freedom (Patton). The team will be coached by former college coach Ms. Debbie Howard-Patton, and was formerly the 18u Texas Force (Patton).

The American Freedom (Patton) brings years of success in building player’s fundamentals and fielding quality teams valued by collegiate coaches..

"We are excited to add yet another former college coach to our stable of American Freedom teams," said AF National Program Director Tim Soefje. " We remain committed to grow our program in the south Ft. Worth, Waco, and West Texas area. Coach Patton and her team provide a strong foothold for us."

The American Freedom (Patton) currently counts players from Fort Worth, Azle, Burleson, Allen, Duncanville, Cameron, McGregor and the Waco, Texas area, including six 2015 graduates already committed to college.

Coach Howard-Patton is assisted by Mr. Toby Jones. Together they possess more than 29 years of coaching experience. Coach Patton begins her 20th year of fastpitch softball coaching. Coach Patton also conducts lessons and clinics. Coach Patton has developed a system for her players that aids in their recruitment to the college level.

Coach Toby Jones brings nine years of managing and coaching travel ball. This summer 2015 will mark the beginning of his second season with Coach Patton. Coach Jones specializes in defense and hitting mechanics. 

Coach Patton’s team continues to gain strength every year, and has qualified for ASA Nationals the last two years.
